DEGREE IN BIOLOGY


Subject context 2015-16
Tiene como objetivo situar la asignatura en el perfil profesional, en el plan formativo del grado y su coordinación con el resto de asignaturas. Las técnicas estructurales y funcionales constituyen herramientas imprescindibles para el conocimiento y avance de la Biología, por lo que son fundamentales para la formación de un graduado en Biología. Existe una gran variedad de técnicas estructurales y funcionales, lo que permite el estudio de la estructura y la función biológica a distintos niveles, desde el molecular y celular al de tejidos, órganos e incluso al de individuo completo. Las competencias de aprendizaje de esta asignatura son fundamentalmente de carácter instrumental y se deberían coordinar, para ser complementarias a las impartidas en la asignatura de ¿Técnicas Moleculares¿. Por otro lado, debido a la marcada transversalidad de los contenidos de esta asignatura, sus objetivos de aprendizaje deben coordinarse y servir de apoyo para otras disciplinas importantes en la formación del biólogo como la Biología Celular, la Microbiología, la Fisiología Vegetal y la Fisiología Animal, entre otras.

Evaluation Tools and Criteria 2015-16
La prueba extraordinaria consistirá únicamente de un examen de tipo test, que tendrá un valor máximo de 5 puntos. A la puntuación obtenida se le sumarán las calificaciones obtenidas por el alumno a lo largo del curso, mediante el proceso de evaluación contínua. Las calificaciones de un curso académico no se guardarán para el siguiente.
