Course context for academic year 2015-16

Statistics is a basic tool for the analysis of the economic and business information; this is the reason why its study is included in the degrees of Economics in all the faculties around the world.

The course "Statistics II" is the second course of the area denoted as Quantitative Methods: Statistics and Econometrics, in the Degree of Economics at the University of Alicante. The goal of this course is to provide the students with the basic knowledge on Statistical Inference, which allow us to withdraw conclusions about an event of economic interest from the observed data.
