Crdts. Teor. | 4 | Each historical event, and now we find ourselves within one of those, has made or should make a reinterpretation of the concept of being, as we believe that there are the keys for the future. Within this complex context we consider necessary to develop a concept of person which faces up to the inclusion challenges as opposed to exclusion, diversity as opposed to homogeneity, rights as opposed to privileges, etc.; an idea that should overcome the distinction that is made too frequently between ¿first class citizens¿ and ¿second class citizens¿. This is the great challenge raised by education, in which we should ask ourselves which are the contents, attitudes and values that should be worked with in the different social and personal fields in order to learn to be, in a society that is increasingly open-minded, complex and plural, from the perspective of culture, literature and communication. |
