Teor. | 4 | Getting to know the endemic, rare or threatened vegetation in the central comarcas of the Alicante province through the new legal figure for the protection of habitats and vegetal species known as ¿flora micro-reserves¿. Following the European Directive 92/43 CEE, the Generalitat Valenciana government has created a dense network of small spaces (259 all over the Valencian Autonomous Region) in which can be found the most genuine habitats and species, the conservation of which is a priority. The objective of this subject is to become familiar with the 25 micro-reserves existing in the comarcas of Alacantí, Alcoià and Alt Vinalopó through their study in the classroom, with audiovisual projections which will inform about their situation, characteristics, habitats and species of paramount importance, management, actions for their conservation and use limitations in each one of them, along with field practical activities in which we will visit as many of these areas as possible. |
