Teor. | 4 | The apparent simplicity of texts hides a considerable conceptual complexity, the use of very heterogeneous knowledge and, above all, a commendable effort to integrate and give coherence to a text. Reading is, basically, being able to understand and, especially, to interpret and reach our own conclusions and opinion, formulated as assessments or judgements.
Being able to read is advancing at the same pace as the texts, following the metacognition guidelines of the reading process and detecting the clues and hints provided by the text.
Each stage of reading reception process is the object of specific activities that require certain training to achieve the reading improvement of the individual.
