Crdts. Teor. | 4 | Encouraging a better knowledge of the institutions related to Inheritance Law born within the Roman Legal System with a description of its evolution towards the Civil Code. In order to develop the course, we will refer to Family Law as a premise of Inheritance Law, focusing specially on marriage, filiation and kinship. Regarding Inheritance Law, by way of introduction we will focus on the basic principles of successions, after which we will deal with the different types of succession: testamentary (last will and testament and bequests); intestate and forced. Finally, a summary of the Successions Tax will be provided from the "vicésima hereditaria" up to its present-day regulation. As for donations, we will refer both to ¿inter vivos¿ donations and those by cause of death. |
