Crdts. Teor. | 4 | Interpersonal conflicts are not only a natural fact in our daily life, but also an essential part of people's social, ethical, moral, affective and psycho-cognitive development. That is the case because conflicts provide genuine and unique opportunities for people's reflection and commitment to their environment, as well as for a gradual increase of personal competence and social sensitivity. Analysing and managing a conflict enables people to intervene and act when facing their own conflicts, without having to recourse to violence or submission, and without having to call for the intervention of the authorities. |
