This course is intended to offer the students the basic and necessary tools for their teaching activity with primary education pupils. Training in aspects such as lesson planning, use of learning materials, teaching linguistic components and communicative skills or testing techniques are essential for any would-be teacher. The objectives are:
a) To give students a general view of the psychological, sociolinguistic, linguistic and methodological approaches to the teaching of English.
b) To introduce students in different teaching technique, evaluation procedures, and ways to organize classroom practice in English teaching.
c) To involve students in designing teaching projects for Primaria (class materials, activities, teaching aids, etc.)
d) To use and apply Critical Thinking Elements and Standards in the English class. |
