Metodologia docent (2009-10)

Classes teòriques i pràctiques

El inglés de los negocios comprises four weekly sessions. The syllabus consists of four units, each of which is divided into three parts. The first part of each unit is devoted to business topics, the second to business documents and the third to business communication skills. Students are expected to use English in class and all the sessions will be interactive. The sessions will be focused on both comprehension and production. Other activities include analysis of texts and videotapes.

Company Simulation. In small groups, students form their own companies and exchange business correspondence relating to the different stages of a business transaction (making contact, placing orders, advising of despatch, payment, etc. In this way they put into practice what they have learnt in class. All students are required to attend the practical classes and take part in the company simulation.
