Metodología docente (2009-10)
Clases teóricas y prácticas
The teaching methodology will consist of lectures (presenting the main points in the lessons), seminars (requiring student intervention and previous reading) and, occasionally, workshops with the students organized in groups.
As for the learning techniques, students will be required to give oral presentations in the classroom of the main points in the lessons, with a double objective: (a) to develop their précis or summary communication skills, and (b) to practice oral delivery.
In all cases, active participation will be taken into consideration for the assessment of the course, and more specifically, it will be given its due importance in the final mark.
Students are also informed that a minimum of three hours of individual work per week (in addition to the lecture periods) is necessary for them to do the exercises required in the lessons, prepare the tasks set for the seminars and workshops, and in general, to suitably follow the course.
