Course context for academic year 2011-12

 CONTEXTUALIZACIÓN. Tiene como objetivo situar la asignatura en el perfil profesional, en el plan formativo del grado y su coordinación con el resto de asignaturas.
       Esta asignatura se propone capacitar al alumnado para reconocer las principales peculiaridades lingüísticas del dialecto magrebí y desarrollar las destrezas comunicativas orales y escritas de modo eficaz. Esta asignatura complementa la formación lingüística del graduado junto con la asignatura de Dialecto árabe oriental, las asignaturas de Lengua árabe estándar y Lingüística árabe.
       La asignatura se orienta especialmente al desarrollo de las competencias y perfiles profesionales relacionados con la mediación lingüística e intercultural y la planificación lingüística, así como la asesoría cultural y la dinamización lingüística.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand the key theories of the disciplines associated with Arab and Islamic Studies and apply them in practice to be able to operate appropriately in the different professional profiles accessible through the degree qualification or undertake further studies with a high level of autonomy.
  • CE10 : Understand the original space of Islam, its expansion and the basic points of reference regarding religion and historical and social evolution in Islamic and its host societies, to understand and interpret the different cultural, literary, artistic and philosophical materials produced by Islamic culture.
  • CE2 : Communicate in standard Arabic, orally and in writing, so as to interact satisfactorily in the academic and professional contexts that can be accessed with the degree qualification.
  • CE3 : Understand the specific linguistic characteristics of Arabic to use it correctly and apply said characteristics to the analysis, understanding, production and adaptation of Arabic in its oral and written forms, as well as linguistic contrast and translation.
  • CE4 : Understand the geographical varieties of Arabic and communicate in Arabic dialects (Maghreb and Eastern) to interact satisfactorily in the professional contexts accessible through of the degree qualification.
  • CE5 : Capacity to interpret, produce and develop academic descriptions and arguments and/or technical reports related to the professional contexts that can be accessed with the degree qualification.
  • CE9 : Analyse and interpret historical, geographical, religious and scientific texts and discourses in Arabic, using appropriate techniques for analysis.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CGUA1 : Be able to communicate in a foreign language other than Arabic in one's discipline.
  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Be able to express oneself correctly in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia in one's discipline.

 

DEGREE IN CATALAN STUDIES

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Capacity to master the key theories, perspectives and conceptualisations for constructing the theoretical framework of linguistic and literary disciplines applied to Catalan language and literature as an expert on the subject and in different professional profiles.
  • CG2 : Capacity to understand the role of language in the construction of human beings as active members of a linguistic and cultural community and relate this to the function of individuals in society.
  • CG3 : Capacity to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques.
  • CG4 : Capacity to manage and use the resources provided by the information and communications technologies and apply those to the language and literature industries.
  • CG5 : Ability to understand the main stages, movements, writers and works of the literature of the second language.

 

General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)

  • CGUA2 : Ability to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Ability to communicate effectively and have linguistic understanding of one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia (Spanish or Catalan) in their discipline.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacity to communicate in the Catalan language in communicative situations (oral and written), allowing fluid communication in the professional and academic areas in which the student will be working in the future, taking into account his/her knowledge of the historical, social, cultural and artistic reality of his/her context.
  • CE2 : Capacity to understand morphological, syntactic, phonetic and lexico-semantic characteristics to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
  • CE3 : Capacity to understand the pragmatic, textual and discursive characteristics of the Catalan language to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.

 

DEGREE IN SPANISH: LANGUAGE AND LITERATURES

 

Generic Degree Course Competences

Aprender a comunicarse oralmente y por escrito en un dialecto árabe magrebí en un grado de dominio básico, A2 MCER.

OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS

1. Alcanzar un repertorio lingüístico sencillo para abordar las situaciones más habituales.
2. Utilizar este repertorio con corrección.
3. Cohesionar el discurso con flexibilidad.
