Course context for academic year 2017-18

La asignatura CARTOGRAFIA GEOLOGICA II pertenece a la materia TECNICAS DE CAMPO del título de grado que es el cuerpo de conocimientos complementarios de la formación geológica del alumno. La Cartografía Geológica es una actividad transversal donde el alumno ejercita sus habilidades en las distintas materias geológicas. Esta asignatura tratará tres aspectos fundamentales de la cartografía geológica: (1) la interpretación de mapas geológicos reales españoles mediante la realización de cortes geológicos; (2) la realización de cartografía geológica en el campo, tanto unidades estratigráficas como estructuras de mediana dificultad; (3) la redacción de informes con la historia geológica y la descripción geológica de las zonas abordadas.

  • CG1 : Develop the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical reasoning.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE28 : Know how to interpret and prepare geological maps of different kinds (geological, geomorphological, geoenvironmental, geotechnical, metallogenetic, hydrogeological, etc.), and other methods of representation (stratigraphic columns, geological cross-sections, etc.).
  • CE31 : Be aware of the bibliographic resources for Geology.
