Assignments. There will be 5 problem sets. Cooperation in the assignments is encouraged, but they should be written up individually. The final will be a three-hour exam given during exam week.
Evaluation. Evaluation will be based on a combination of the midterm exam (30%), final exam (50% of the grade), and the problem sets (20% of the grade).
The final grade in the second evaluation period is EXCLUSIVELY given by the grade obtained in a retake exam (with theory and practice questions) about the whole content of the course. Grades from continuous assessment, if any, will not be taken into account.
