Course context for academic year 2017-18

El Derecho internacional privado es la rama del ordenamiento jurídico español que se encarga de regular las relaciones privadas internacionales. El proceso de integración europeo, los avances en las tecnologías de la comunicación y la información, el incremento de los movimientos humanos trasnacionales, la llamada globalización económica y la eliminación de los obstáculos al comercio internacional provocan que las relaciones privadas internacionales hayan pasado de ser la excepción a ser la regla general. Los estudiantes que cursan el grado de Derecho debe ser conscientes de esta realidad, conocer las herramientas que el Derecho internacional privado establece para garantizar una adecuada regulación de estas relaciones y reflexionar sobre los principios que deben inspirar dicha regulación.

  • CE2 : Perceive the unitary nature of the legal code and the interdisciplinary vision required for legal problems.
  • CE3 : Capacity to use constitutional principles and values as tools for interpreting the legal code.
  • CE4 : Capacity to handle legal sources (legal, jurisprudential and doctrinal).
  • CE5 : Develop legal oratory. Capacity to express oneself correctly in front of an audience.
  • CE6 : Capacity to read and interpret legal texts.
  • CE7 : Capacity to write legal documents.
  • CE9 : Acquire critical conscience in analysing legal codes and the development of legal dialectics.
