  • La asignatura Desarrollo Turístico y Sociedad Local tiene por objetivo fundamental, el análisis sociológico de los impactos socio-económicos, políticos, culturales y medioambientales que el fenómeno del turismo de masas produce en las sociedades locales sobre las que se despliega. En su despliegue fenoménico el turismo de masas produce, en términos generales, algunas de las características más significativas de las sociedades democráticas extendidas a escala global por el empuje de sus desarrollos históricos capitalistas en el sentido estricto de la expresión.
