Course context for academic year 2016-17

Nuevos materiales y nanomateriales en análisis químico es una asignatura optativa del Master de Ciencia de Materiales que se imparte en el segundo cuatrimestre. El estudio y desarrollo de nuevos materiales, así como de nanomateriales, son campos muy activos de investigación. Las especiales propiedades ópticas, eléctricas y magnéticas que presentan muchos de estos (nano)materiales encuentran una gran aplicabilidad en el área del análisis químico, ya que pueden mejorar, así como proporcionar nuevas modalidades, tanto de separación como de detección.

  • CG1 : Commitment to self-guided or autonomous learning to gain deeper knowledge of the subject.
  • CG2 : Monitor and critically interpret the latest advances in the theory and practice of Materials Science.
  • CG3 : Carry out research tasks and interpret the results of the same.
  • CG6 : Use scientific bibliography, patent and legislation databases.
  • CG7 : Use computer tools and information technologies.
  • CG8 : Prepare and defend a research project.

  • CEF10 : Understand the concept of nanomaterials and the main properties that characterise them.
  • CEF5 : Understand the most important properties of materials (mechanical, electrical, optical, etc.)
  • CEF6 : Classify materials according to properties and applications.
  • CEF8 : Select materials for a particular application.

 

Specific Competences:>>specialisation

  • CEE10 : Understand the fundamental aspects of nanoscience and nanomaterials.
  • CEE3 : Understand the structure, properties and applications of porous carbon materials.
  • CEE8 : Understand the methods of synthesis, properties and applications of zeolithic materials and mesostructured solids.
