Course context for academic year 2016-17

La asignatura "Diseño y Conservacion de Carreteras" es una asignatura perteneciente al bloque de Tecnología Específica en Servicios Urbanos; se imparte en el segundo semestre del tercer curso de la titulación en Ingeniería Civil.

Aunque no se exige ningún prerrequisito académico específico para cursar esta asignatura, se recomienda que el estudiante posea conocimientos suficientes de Geometría, Mecánica, Expresión Gráfica, Topografía, Hidráulica e Hidrología, Geología, Mecánica de Suelos y Materiales de Construcción, debiéndose haber  adquirido estos en diversas asignaturas obligatorias de cursos anteriores.

La asignatura se divide en las siguientes actividades: teoría, problemas y prácticas de laboratorio y prácticas con ordenador. Todas estas actividades presenciales están enfocadas a dar al futuro graduado una capacitación cientifico-técnica en el ámbito de la concepción, proyecto y construcción de carreteras e infraestructuras afines.

Igualmente, la formación adquirida por el alumno le preparará para el desarrollo y profundización de contenidos en diversas disciplinas propias de la Ingeniería de Carreteras, abordadas por diversas asignaturas específicas de la titulación en cursos posteriores.

  • CEC-4 : Capacity to build and preserve roads, as well as the sizing, planning and building of the elements that make up highway equipment. Capacity to plan, build and preserve road transport infrastructures.

  • CEH-3 : Knowledge of urban services projects related to water distribution and sanitation works.

 

Specific Competences (Specific Technology):>>Transit and Urban Services

  • CET-1 : Capacity to build and preserve roads, as well as the sizing, planning and building of the elements that make up highway equipment. Capacity to plan, build and preserve road transport infrastructures.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should have those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
  • CB-5 : Students should have developed the necessary learning skills to undertake later studies with a high level of autonomy.
