Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2016-17

Esta asignatura amplía, al futuro Ingeniero de Edificación - Grado en Arquitectura Técnica, los conocimientos necesarios para el desarrollo del proceso de la Gestión de Calidad de los materiales y sistemas constructivos con el fin de controlar cuantitativa y cualitativamente lo construido, tal y como es su responsabilidad.
Además de proporcionar nuevos conocimientos para el desarrollo de la gestión medioambiental de los procesos de edificación y demolición, la elaboración de estudios del ciclo de vida útil de los materiales y sistemas constructivos, la elaboración de los planes de mantenimiento y conservación de los edificios y la gestión en el tratamiento de los residuos de demolición y de construcción.

General Competences (CG)

  • G4 : Understand the chemical characteristics of the materials used in building, their elaboration processes, the methodology of tests to determine their characteristics, their geological origin and environmental impact, recycling and waste management.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • E11 : Capacity to draft manuals and maintenance plans and manage their implantation in buildings.
  • E12 : Understand the evaluation of the environmental impact of building and demolition processes, sustainability in building and the procedures and techniques used to evaluate the energy efficiency of buildings.
  • E20 : Capacity to manage site quality control, draft, apply, implant and update quality manuals and plans, carry out quality management audits of companies and write the building log book.
  • E4 : Understand the traditional or prefabricated materials used in building, their types and the physical and mechanical characteristics that define them.
  • E5 : Capacity to choose the correct building materials for the type and use of the building, manage and direct their receipt and quality control of the materials, their location on site, control the execution of the work units and carry out final tests and trials.
  • E8 : Understand the specific control procedures for the material execution of building work.
  • E9 : Capacity to pass judgement on the causes and manifestations of building lesions, propose solutions to avoid or rectify the pathologies and analyse the useful life cycle of building elements and systems.
