Course context for academic year 2017-18

Asignatura que se imparte en sexto cuatrimestre, después de Acústica (3C),  transductores acústicos (4C) y aislamiento y acondicionamiento acústico (5C). Se apoya conceptualmente, en conceptos impartidos en estas, especialmente en TA aunque utiliza herramientas de otras asignaturas, siendo muy importante haber cursado con aprovechamiento todas  las materias de segundo curso.
En esta asignatura estudian los problemas de la radiación de placas  y de  las pérdidas por transmisión de particiones formadas por varias capas, las técnicas experimentales para caracterizar vibratorios y sistemas radiantes. Una parte importante de las prácticas se dedica a las técnicas vibroacústicas para la caracterización de materiales.
Las primeras prácticas se dedican al estudio de sistemas radiantes caja cerrada, Bass Reflex, activo pasivo y paso banda conectando de esta forma con los contenidos de la asignatura Tranductores acústicos de segundo curso. El estudio de estos sistemas permite profundizar en los conceptos de sistemas vibroacústicos con un número finito de grados de libertad.

  • CT4 : Students should be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.

  • C1 : Capacity for self-learning of new knowledge and techniques appropriate for the conception, development and exploitation of telecommunications systems and services.
  • C3 : Capacity to use computer tools to find bibliographic resources and information related to telecommunications and electronics.
  • C8 : Capacity to understand the mechanisms for propagating and transmitting electromagnetic and acoustic waves, and their corresponding transmitting and receiving devices.

  • E4 : Capacity to carry out acoustic engineering projects on: Insulation and acoustic preparation of premises, Public address installations, Specification, analysis and selection of electroacoustic transducers, Systems for the measurement, analysis and control of noise and vibration, Environmental acoustics, Underwater acoustic systems.
