Course context for academic year 2016-17

 

Esta asignatura ofrece al alumnado un nivel de competencia lingüística B1.1 (según el Marco de Referencia Europeo) en la comunicación oral y escrita en inglés en el ámbito del sector turístico.

La asignatura está relacionada con los diferentes niveles de inglés incluidos en el Grado de Turismo (Inglés I, II y III) y con la asignatura "Cultura en instituciones de los países de habla inglesa" incluida en el Grado de Filología Inglesa.

General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)

  • CGUA1 : Understand and express oneself in a foreign language in one's discipline.
  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA4 : Be able to commit oneself ethically with sustainability, fundamental rights, equality of men and women, the principles of equal opportunity and universal accessibility for the disabled, as well as the values of a peaceful, democratic culture.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand the principles of tourism: its spatial, social, cultural, legal, political, labour and economic dimension.
  • CE13 : Master communication techniques.
  • CE15 : Work with English as a foreign language.
  • CE16 : Communicate orally and in writing in a second foreign language.
  • CE24 : Analyse and use information and communication technologies (ICT) in the different fields of the tourist sector.
  • CE29 : Work in different sociocultural contexts.
