Course context for academic year 2016-17
La asignatura tiene por finalidad la adquisición de conocimientos teóricos y aplicados sobre un ámbito específico de la actividad profesional de los economistas, la cooperación al desarrollo. Dicho ámbito ha adquirido una gran relevancia en las últimas décadas a consecuencia de la globalización de la actividad económica, los Objetivos del Milenio y el dinamismo de las denominadas economías emergentes del Sur. Esta relevancia ha motivado que se precise una adecuada formación en correspondencia con la creciente demanda de especialistas, tanto por parte del sector público como del privado.Los contenidos de la asignatura exigen conocimientos de la mayoría de asignaturas de la titulación, especialmente de economía mundial e historia económica.
