Course context for academic year 2016-17

La asignatura Física I en el grado de matemáticas tiene por objeto mostrar al alumno la importancia de las matemáticas en la formalización de las teorías físicas. Se utilizarán conocimientos matemáticos que el alumno ha aprendido en el bachillerato o en el primer cuatrimestre de la titulación a fin de desarrollar la teoría física. Para abordar ciertos temas de física, se introducirán los conceptos matemáticos necesarios, de una forma intuitiva, que en asignaturas posteriores se estudiarán con mayor rigor. El alumno tiene un primer contacto con algunos conceptos matemáticos a través de su aplicación en Física y, posteriormente, formalizará su estudio. Este método de proceder obliga a coordinarse, en cuanto a la notación, con asignaturas posteriores, a fin de que el alumno refuerce los conceptos aprendidos y no vea el mismo concepto como diferente cuando lo utiliza en física o cuando lo estudia en matemáticas

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand and use mathematical language. Acquire the capacity to enunciate propositions in different fields of Mathematics, to construct demonstrations and transmit the mathematical knowledge acquired.
  • CE10 : Communicate, both orally and in writing, mathematical knowledge, procedures, results and ideas.
  • CE3 : Assimilate the definition of a new mathematical object in terms of others already known and be able to use said object in different contexts.
  • CE6 : Solve mathematical problems using basic calculus skills and other techniques, planning their resolution according to the tools available and any time and resource restriction.

 

Specific Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA2 : Possess computer knowledge related to the field of study.
  • CGUA3 : Acquire or posses basic ICT (Information and Communication technology) skills and manage the information obtained appropriately.
