La asignatura ofrece una aproximación epistemológica al concepto de “literatura española”, y propone, en la concreción de los textos producidos, una articulación de sus principales tendencias a lo largo del tiempo, en conexión con el discurso del pensamiento, la realidad sociohistórica y las corrientes más influyentes de la literatura universal.

DEGREE IN HUMANITIES

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG10 : Recognition of cultural diversity and equal opportunities.

  • CG7 : Capacity for organisation and planning.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand human behaviour in society using specific methods and techniques of analysis and, in this way, develop the ethical commitment to gender equality and a special capacity for interpersonal relationships.
  • CE2 : Understand History and the major artistic and philosophical currents of Mankind, particularly the classical foundations on which European cultural reality is based, and be able to transmit them by promoting the social value of culture.
  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.

  • CG3 : Capacity to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques.
  • CG5 : Ability to understand the main stages, movements, writers and works of the literature of the second language.

 

General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)

  • CGUA2 : Ability to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Ability to communicate effectively and have linguistic understanding of one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia (Spanish or Catalan) in their discipline.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE9 : Capacity to identify the currents of literary criticism, their categories, concepts and nomenclature as a key factor in the development of the capacity to criticise and analyse text (literary, cinematographic, advertising), as regards the creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.

 

DEGREE IN FRENCH STUDIES

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE11 : Capacity to use pertinent resources and materials: bibliographic repertories, reference works and the new ICTs as an autonomous learner able to control the learning process and progress independently in it.
  • CE14 : Capacity to interpret and analyse the main stages, movements, writers and works of the Literature of a second language.
  • CE6 : Capacity to analyse and criticise literary texts as a creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.

  • CE19 : Be able to understand and apply the principles of textual, rhetorical and stylistic criticism.
  • CE2 : Be able to master one's mother tongue in practice and in theory.
  • CE21 : Be able to communicate and transmit the knowledge acquired to experts and non-experts in the field.
  • CE26 : Be able to relate the different aspects of Philology with each other and with other disciplines.
