Course context for academic year 2017-18

Aquesta assignatura és una assignatura de quart curs pertanyent al mòdul de "complementació". Aquest mòdul, compost de 30 crèdits, permet a l'alumnat formar-se en una de les vuit assignatures que, amb caràcter optatiu, té a la seua disposició. Cadascuna d'aquestes matèries, a excepció del grup de Filologia Catalana, es desenvolupa en un grup tancat de 30 crèdits amb assignatures pròpies de cadascun dels grups específics. Si l'alumnat decideix cursar la matèria optativa corresponent a Filologia Catalana, disposarà d'una oferta de 7 assignatures, de les quals haurà de cursar 5. Així mateix, en lloc d'alguna d'aquestes, l'alumnat podrà cursar l'assignatura Pràctiques externes.

  • CE5 : Capacity to interpret, produce and develop academic descriptions and arguments and/or technical reports related to the professional contexts that can be accessed with the degree qualification.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Be able to express oneself correctly in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia in one's discipline.

 

DEGREE IN CATALAN STUDIES

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Capacity to master the key theories, perspectives and conceptualisations for constructing the theoretical framework of linguistic and literary disciplines applied to Catalan language and literature as an expert on the subject and in different professional profiles.
  • CG2 : Capacity to understand the role of language in the construction of human beings as active members of a linguistic and cultural community and relate this to the function of individuals in society.
  • CG3 : Capacity to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques.
  • CG4 : Capacity to manage and use the resources provided by the information and communications technologies and apply those to the language and literature industries.

 

General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)

  • CGUA2 : Ability to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Ability to communicate effectively and have linguistic understanding of one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia (Spanish or Catalan) in their discipline.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacity to communicate in the Catalan language in communicative situations (oral and written), allowing fluid communication in the professional and academic areas in which the student will be working in the future, taking into account his/her knowledge of the historical, social, cultural and artistic reality of his/her context.
  • CE10 : Capacity to use the pertinent resources and materials for self-learning (bibliographies, dictionaries, reference works, terminological works, tutorials, new technologies) and transmit the information in the Catalan language.
  • CE11 : Be able to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques, formulate working hypotheses, demonstrate them with arguments and reach conclusions, as well as recognise and ensure the textual coherence (structure of the text, organisation of ideas, progression of information, use of keywords), to explain and argue any subject related to Catalan language and literature, thus achieving the role of expert, transmitter and adviser regarding the knowledge acquired.
  • CE12 : Capacity to understand, value and take advantage of multilingualism with an attitude favouring the standardisation of Catalan, to participate in cultural and linguistic diversity, as well as promoting it to ensure the better social development of the language.
  • CE3 : Capacity to understand the pragmatic, textual and discursive characteristics of the Catalan language to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
  • CE6 : Ability to use the standard model (and the different sub-standards) of the Catalan language, as well as understanding and knowing how to apply lexical creation and innovation mechanisms to adapt oneself to the communication needs of the modern world.

 

DEGREE IN FRENCH STUDIES

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE11 : Capacity to use pertinent resources and materials: bibliographic repertories, reference works and the new ICTs as an autonomous learner able to control the learning process and progress independently in it.
  • CE12 : Capacity to respect, value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in building a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Francophone world.
  • CE6 : Capacity to analyse and criticise literary texts as a creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.

  • CP19 : Capacity to identify currents of literary criticism, their categories, concepts and anomenclature, as a basic tool for developing the ability to analyse and criticise text (literary, cinematographic, advertising, etc.), as regards the creative manifestation and reflection of the sociocultural context.
  • CP20 : Capacity to use the pertinent materials and resources: bibliographic repertories, dictionaries, works of reference, critical editions, translations and ICTs as an independent learner able to control one's own learning process and make the corresponding independent progress.

 

Specific Competences (CE):>>Attitude

  • CA22 : Be able to value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in the construction of a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Spanish-speaking world.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2017-18

1. Conéixer les propietats bàsiques del text des d'un punt de vista discursiu.

2. Conéixer la tipologia de textos des d'un punt de vista discursiu.

3. Conéixer els mitjans teòrics de l'anàlisi del discurs en el comentari de textos.

4. Conéixer les possibilitats d'aplicació del comentari de textos a l'ensenyament de la llengua.

5. Analitzar les propietats textuals d'un discurs.

6. Classificar els textos segons la tipologia a què puguen pertànyer.

7. Produir textos adequats a la situació comunicativa quant als trets de la variació, cohesionats, coherents i correctes.

8. Fer servir adequadament els mitjans teòrics de l'anàlisi del discurs en el comentari de textos.

9. Fer servir el comentari de text com a instrument didàctic per a millorar la competència comunicativa dels aprenents de llengua catalana en l'ensenyament secundari i en el batxillerat.

10. Mostrar una actitud positiva davant el comentari de text com a instrument per a millorar la competència comunicativa dels alumnes i la capacitat d'anàlisi crítica dels lectors.

11. Traslladar l'anàlisi del discurs a la realitat quotidiana, com a eina de reflexió sobre la forma i el contingut ideològic dels textos orals i escrits reals (cinema, premsa, publicitat).

12. Fer servir correctament i amb eficàcia comunicativa la normativa (especialment la pronúncia però també l'ortografia, la gramàtica, la lexicosemàntica i la fraseologia) que regula l'ús de la llengua en el registre formal de l'àmbit acadèmic, sobretot dels textos expositivoargumentatius (en el canal oral: exposició, debat i entrevista; en el canal escrit: informe i treball acadèmic).
