Course context for academic year 2017-18

Asignatura dedicada a comprender y valorar la perspectiva de otras culturas y costumbres, reconociendo la diversidad humana, apreciando su valor y amplitud, siendo capaces de gestionar esa diversidad en los diversos ámbitos profesionales a partir de conocer los instrumentos específicos para investigar el patrimonio etnológico tangible e intangible realizando intervenciones y proyectos de gestión del mismo al mismo tiempo que profundizar en el ámbito del sector cultural para el desarrollo de acciones de promoción y gestión cultural El perfil profesional está orientado no sólo a la docencia sino a la gestión y difusión cultural tanto en el ámbito privado como en el público, además de una formación humanística orientada a completar la formación de cualquier profesional.

  • CE1 : Understand human behaviour in society using specific methods and techniques of analysis and, in this way, develop the ethical commitment to gender equality and a special capacity for interpersonal relationships.
  • CE4 : Understand contemporary territorial, socioeconomic, political and cultural reality, national and international, to interpret and transmit one's view of the modern world in critical fashion particularly the process of European integration, as well as the shaping of the Spanish state and its impact on the world.
  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE6 : Understand and assess indigenous cultural and natural heritage resources to contribute towards the sensitive management of sustainable development with a critical approach.
  • CE7 : Make creative entrepreneurial use of the basic principles of the public and private organisation and management of ICTs to evaluate, create and carry out cultural dissemination projects.
